French artist Bullitt Ballabeni was born in 1978 in Lyon, where he still lives and works. After an extensive experience as a physical education teacher, Bullitt changed field completely and trained in his father's wrought iron workshop. As the son of a craftsman awarded with the prestigious title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France (Best Craftsman of France), Bullitt remains marked by a deep, sensual attachment to this metal. He then turned to body art, learned piercing and tattooing for several years, before opening his own studio In My Brain. Over time, the space evolved into a multidisciplinary place of creation, combining a tattoo studio, an art workshop and a gallery. It also became a key place of contact at the center of a seething artistic network. Bullitt now manages In My Brain with his life partner Sophie Haza. As an artistic demiurge, as an indefatigable and inspired doer, his creativity is kept intense and he exhibits frequently.
